Saebil cafe in Jeju-si is widely appreciated for its spacious and light-filled interior, offering scenic views that enhance the overall ambiance. Visitors frequently commend the cozy atmosphere and the blend of rustic and modern design elements. The food, particularly the pastries like garlic bread and peanut croissants, receives positive remarks for taste and quality, though some find certain items slightly dry or average relative to their price. Drinks, including signature offerings such as matcha lattes, are noted for their distinctive flavors but are considered somewhat expensive alongside the pricing of pastries. While the location’s appeal is strong, some reviewers feel the distance and self-service model may limit its desirability as a frequent or out-of-the-way destination. Seasonal changes in the surrounding scenery also impact visitor experience.

The interior of this place is impressive with plenty of seating and beautiful views inside and out. However, given how far out it is, the self service and how pricey the drinks and pastries are - i would not recommend it as a place to go out of your way for. Drinks are $8k won, bottled juice is $7k won and the pastries are $8-12k won which tasted average for the price.

Saebil's Cafe (Jeju): A Delightful Stop with Stunning Views (4.5/5 Stars) Rating: • Ambiance: 4.5/5 (Spacious, light-filled room, panoramic views, cozy atmosphere) • Food: 4.5/5 (Delicious bread, a testament to the cafe's appeal) • Overall: 4.5/5 (Memorable experience despite the main attraction outside falling short of expectations) Donkey and I found Saebil's cafe to be a highlight of our trip, despite the pink larang not being as vibrant as expected due to the season (see previous photos). The cafe itself boasts a stunning interior—a spacious, light-filled room with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views (see attached photo). The delicious bread and the overall ambiance, coupled with the packed crowd, created a truly memorable experience. It's a testament to the cafe's appeal, even if the main attraction outside fell short of expectations.

Food: Love the food. The peanut crossaints are slightly dry in the center but the Peanut aroma make up for it. The sandwich and garlic bread are best that I have in this korea trip. The signature dirty matcha latte is bold in matcha but not overcome its coffee shot. Service: it's great and nothing to complain about. Atmosphere: Arrived this cloudy morning. To be honest, it gives me the feeling of my childhood game "The House Of The Dead". It looks abandoned as it has grown over some parasitic plant and painting is off. But as I walk in, it is a interesting Bakery cafe. It has an unique vibe to it as I can says. Since it attained most of its predecessor design and decoration, I can't help to feel whether has the stain has been cleaned. Although physically everything you touch and step are clean.

Kitty and I were drawn to Saebil cafe based on a viral TikTok video that featured a stunning backdrop of pink muhly grass. We were excited to visit this cafe, located within the Green Resort Hotel, a charming old building with a unique blend of rustic charm and modern design. We were a little disappointed to discover that the field had turned yellow due to the change of season. The vibrant pink backdrop that made the cafe so popular on TikTok was gone, but we still enjoyed our visit. The cafe itself is a pleasant space, with a modern and minimalist design. The large windows offer beautiful views, although the scenery was a bit different from the TikTok video. We enjoyed the selection of baked goods, and Kitty particularly loved the Tongmil Basaki (통밀 바삭이), a delicious whole wheat snack that is sweet and crunchy. We decided to pack it to go and savour it later. We also shared the butter pretzel, which we found to be a bit on the chewy side. The bread was a bit hard, but the butter went well with it. We both enjoyed the ciabatta sandwich, which was filled with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and ham. It was a satisfying and flavorful choice. We understand that the pink muhly grass is a seasonal phenomenon, and we were hoping to catch the vibrant pink backdrop that made the cafe so popular. However, we were also pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff. When I accidentally left my portable charger behind, they were so helpful in putting it aside. We returned to find it safe and sound, thanks to their honesty and attention to detail. Overall, Saebil is a nice place to relax and enjoy a coffee or a snack, but if you're hoping for the specific TikTok aesthetic, it's important to note that the scenery changes with the seasons. The cafe itself is charming, with a warm atmosphere and kind staff. We highly recommend visiting for a unique experience, especially if you're looking for a cosy spot with beautiful views.

Went last week and was glad to know that the pink muhly grass was already in full bloom and we managed to take some nice photos there. The cafe itself is quite cool and the pastries is quite good - liked the garlic cream cheese bread. The coffee was alright only.

An old hotel converted into a cafe. The building is quite impressive and they have nicely done it up. Supposedly there are pink pampas growing around the area but nothing really to be seen at the moment. Maybe the wrong season. We got the peanut croissant and salt bread. Certain items can be warmed up from free. But the croissant was quite hard and dry, and the salt bread was ok. Plenty of parking.

The entrance is actually an old worn out hotel. They didn't change the signs or anything, so I didn't find it at first. The cafe inside is modernized and there are plenty of seats and open area. The drinks are a little bit too sweet, the cakes and bakery were alright. There are also plenty of parking at the front. It's a place you can come stop by and have a rest if you have time.
